Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a large, full-service California law firm seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal for its Irvine office. This role supports attorneys through all stages of litigation-from case inception through trial and appeal-and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings
  • Draft and assist with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Track deadlines under California and Federal procedural rules and maintain case calendars
  • Coordinate discovery, document productions, and deposition preparation
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and pre-trial filings
  • Provide in-court support, including exhibit management and trial coordination
  • Assist with appellate filings, briefing schedules, and appendices
  • Utilize e-discovery platforms and trial presentation software

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of complex litigation experience with strong trial support background
  • Appellate experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in California state and federal courts required
  • Paralegal certificate preferred (ABA-approved a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, DISCO)
  • Strong organizational, technical, and multitasking skills
